No...sorry. This can be purchased in your home town from a local insurance provider or through
a specialist like Blue Cross. If you have concerns about receiveing a refund if you have to cancel.
Unlike the large faceless travel sites you can call us directly and we will issue a refund immediately upon
cancellation. Of course there are penalties imposed by the resorts (see the cancellation policies of each resort on the "rates" pages)
should you cancel within certain time limits. There is a 5% fee taken if you paid by credit card.
On the Dutch side the current is 110 volts. On the French side the current is 220 volts.
Some hotels provide transformers for your 110 volt appliances. These can be purchased at home or if you forget
there are many shops that sell convertors on the island.
We don't make the reservations for you but we now offer two choices in our "Discount Air" section
that will give you two very good options with great rates.
We now are working with CVOA (The Caribbean Villa Owners Association) who are able to offer Onestop
clients discount airfares to St. Martin/Maarten. You can call them toll free at 1-877-248-2862
and ask for the best rate or contact us.
We are also directly connected with Global Travel International and offer a search engine to get
the best fares for you.
The best fares are usually available within six weeks of your departure date but you can't always wait
'til the last minute or the flights may be filled.
We have found that it's usually less expensive to book your flight and accommodation separately.
There are many advantages in booking through "Onestop".

Once you have made your booking and we have received your deposit or payment you will be sent an official
confirmation by email (unless instructed otherwise) including your information, your resort, dates, description of your accommodations
and the rate you paid. "Are you a registered business?"
We've only been asked this a couple of times but "yes" we are fully registered and
contracted to the resorts we represent. We have been in business on the internet since 1998.
"Is St. Martin/Maarten safe?"
As it is an island colony of France and the Netherlands, St. Martin/Maarten is one of the safest places in the Caribbean.
We do, however suggest that you use the same precautions you would if you were at home. Don't leave valuables in your
rental car or leave your bags unattended on the beach and it makes sense to use travellers cheques and credit cards
when travelling abroad. "Can you give us information about resorts you don't represent?"
We do have a good working knowledge of St. Martin/Maarten and most of the resorts although we are most
familiar with our own. If you do require some assistance with regard to bookings in St. Martin/Maarten we will
be happy to assist you the best we can. "Is food expensive?"
Food in supermarkets is very plentiful and costs about the same as at home.
The true magic of St. Martin/Maarten is that the restaurants are superb and offer food as good or better than you'll
find in the best restaurants of Europe. "When is hurricane season?"
Caribbean hurricane season officially begins July 1 to Nov. 30 but the most active time is Sept. 1 to Oct. 15.
Most hotels choose to close for this period to do their yearly maintenance and give their staff a well-deserved holiday.
We have a few that remain open for the adventurous. "Are the beaches closed or open to everyone?"
We have a section devoted to all the interesting places to visit and sites to see.
Points of interest include: The Sint Maarten Zoo, The Butterfly Farm, Pic Paradise, Lotterie Farm, Carnival,
Fort St. Louis (Marigot), Fort Amsterdam,The Guavaberry Shop,The Old House and day trips to Anguilla, St. Barts,
Saba and St. Eustatius Islands. We have taken our own pictures of some of the attractions,
and have provided you with a map indicating where they are located. Just click HERE for
more information.
